No. I supply the proper license for up to 4 anglers.

  • Is the boat safe for me and my entire family?

Yes. I am federally licensed by the United States Coast Guard. Our vessel, meets or exceeds all Coast Guard requirements. Safety is our number one priority. All passengers will receive a safety briefing before leaving the dock. You can enjoy the trip knowing you’re safe and secure with a seasoned professional.

  • Do we still fish on rainy days?

Yes, we normally fish on rainy days. Depending on winds, sea conditions, thunderstorms, and chances of lightening there is always a chance we may cancel. Safety is always our priority. If we do fish, I make every effort to avoid those areas of rain.

  • What are the chances of a successful charter?

Extremely high, although we cannot guarantee the fish will bite.  I’ve been fortunate enough to catch fish on most charters. With extensive knowledge about the waters we’ll be fishing, it’s my goal to make your trip the best fishing outing you’ve ever experienced. I will discuss with you the best options for a productive trip, outlining which species of fish we should target.

  • How do I know if the boat is available for the date I want?

When you call to reserve one or more days, I can usually make arrangements to accommodate you. The sooner you make your reservation the better.

  • Why do fishing charters cost so much?

Maintaining and operating a safe, properly outfitted, quality fishing vessel is expensive. Today’s fuel costs alone are staggering. There are many additional costs one never sees on a fishing charter. For example; charter insurance, bait, boat maintenance, equipment repair, licensing, and many other factors. You get what you pay for in charter vessels. I strive to keep my costs down, to give you the best value in the area. The excitement of chartering your own boat, catching fish, and having a tremendous outdoor experience, while making memories to last a lifetime, is well worth the expense.

  • What time of the day do you start your fishing trips?

This is your fishing trip. We will work with you to begin the charter at a time convenient for you. Please remember, there are several factors which affect the success of any fishing trip. Some of these factors include weather, tides, time of year, moon phase, and even the prime feeding times of various species. We will usually discuss times during the booking process.

  • How early should I arrive for my fishing trip?

Please arrive fifteen to twenty minutes before the scheduled charter time. By this time the bait and ice will be loaded on board and we will be ready to load your personal things.

  • What if the weather forecast looks bad?

We will keep in touch, and communicate with you at least the week before the trip. If it’s not going to be fun out there, we will cancel the trip, and your deposit will be refunded. Above all, we want you to have a safe and enjoyable fishing trip, not a bad weather experience.

  • In addition to a tip, is there any other way to show appreciation for a truly great and memorable fishing trip?

Yes, we would love to place your best fishing photos from your trip and any comments you have on our website. Also, if you had a truly great fishing trip, any favorable reviews you would like to place on Google, Trip Advisor, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
